Dewey's Footie Challenge Rankings Explained
Competitors are ranked depending on the number of ranking points they have. Points scored over the past four seasons are used to work out the ranking points.
The points scored over the last four seasons are then weighted for each season. The most current seasons points scored are multiplied by 4. The previous season points scored are multiplied by 3, the season points scored before that are multiplied by 2, and then the season points scored before that are multiplied by 1.
Included now are points accredited from the Champions Knockout and the ARFA Trophy. Competitors are awarded 3 points for each round they survive. These points are then weighted for each of the last four season in the same way as described above.
Competitors are then placed in order depending how many ranking points they have. The competitor with the most ranking points is ranked number one and so on. If any competitors have the same ranking points, then their ranking position will be determined by which competitor has scored the most points in their Footie Challenge career.
Note: No joker points are used in any calculations.
